Covid pandemic has brought many challenges and disruptions to society, including educational institutions. Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s College of Social Work was no exception, and plans for an offline ceremony to distribute merit scholarships had to be canceled. However, this did not stop the institution from fulfilling its commitment to supporting deserving students.
Instead of an in-person ceremony, the scholarship amount of 2,01,000 Rupees was transferred online. This decision showcased the institution’s unwavering dedication to providing educational opportunities and ensuring that deserving students are not left behind, even in the midst of a pandemic.
The scholarship was awarded to students across Nashik, Karjat, and Bangalore, providing them with much-needed financial support during these difficult times. This act of generosity has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of these students and their families, giving them the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s College of Social Work has demonstrated its resilience and unwavering commitment to education. Their actions have shown that even in the face of adversity, it is possible to make a positive impact and support those in need.
