The outbreak of the Corona pandemic has disrupted the normal functioning of society, including educational institutions. Plans for an offline merit scholarship distribution at Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s College of Social Work in Nashik had to be scrapped due to safety concerns. However, this did not deter the organizers from their goal of supporting deserving students.
Instead of an in-person distribution, the decision was made to transfer the scholarship amount online, amounting to a total of 1,12,500 Rupees. This move was a testament to the institution’s commitment to supporting education and ensuring that deserving students were not left behind in the wake of the pandemic.
The scholarship was awarded to students across Nashik and Karjat, providing them with much-needed financial support during these challenging times. This act of kindness and generosity has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of these students and their families.
Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj’s College of Social Work has demonstrated their resilience and commitment to education. Their actions have shown that even in the face of adversity, it is possible to make a positive impact and support those in need.
